Blog Talk Radio is a free, live, and recorded broadcast station owned by Google. Sign up free as you would for any other social site.

I recommend small business owners and and anyone with something to share get signed up and go for it!

Within minutes you can be up and running.
Choose a show name.
Upload a picture.
About you in profile.
Choose your first show subject.
Pick a time and date.

Since Google owns BTR...you get ranked well.
Be sure to choose quality keywords too!

Remember to have fun and be passionate about your expertise. Don't worry about being perfect...People are not attracted to perfection...they want to connect with someone REAL!

Video can be far more powerful than the written word. Keep it short! Convey value, be sincere and speak from the heart.

Structure your video in a conversational manner. Open with a question. Give a solution to their problem. Example: What's the #1 problem you want to help them solve?

Working a a new book on Twitter! I'll share some simple rules of Twitter right now:

1. Be real, be yourself...let your personality shine
2. Don't sell
3. Share valuable content with others
4. ReTweet others good content
5. Send direct messages and engage
6. Listen and learn...there's lots of good stuff on Twitter
7. Don't over post
8. Post 2x's per day (morning and night) 1 or 2 hrs only
9. Don't become a Twitterholic :)
10.Be kind

This is the right way to use Twitter. If you follow these simple rules you will gain a nice following and people will get to know you for who you are, not what goods you're trying to sell.

If you do have something to sell...take your time and you will gain people's trust.

People want to get to know you first, then trust you enough to listen to what you have that might benefit them.

Follow these simple rules and you will build lifelong friendships and potential customers.

Most importantly have fun and keep reading all you can to develop a great chaacter that people love.

Twitter for Beginners

If you haven't already heard, Twitter is the fastest growing and easy to use social networking site. I've said it before and I'll say it again...If you're not participating in social media marketing...you're business probably won't survive.

Things have changed dramatically in a very short time. You've got to keep up and have a "Whatever it takes attitude!" The old school, and expensive ways of marketing via newspaper adds etc. are OUT! Start by setting up a Twitter account now...everyday matters! I'm not kidding.

Go to Twitter and set up your site (only takes about 10 minutes and then scroll down to the bottom of the page to get real-time key searches for your niche...and start following people.

Remember, don't "sell" just start making friends and building relationships. You're list will grow as will your ability to reach more people. Just do some google searches for Twitter for beginners and you'll be connected with outstanding info that will take you to the next level!
